i’m in a time of major life changes, and i’m hoping that when the dust settles, i’ll have a bit more time to dedicate to all of my crafting, cooking, baking, and creating! i finished grad school in may, and got a job offer a few weeks later from an institution back home. the fella and i are thrilled to be moving back to the twin ports area! we’ll be within a few hours of both sets of parents, closer to siblings and close friends for visits, and will have a few sets of close friends right in town. we’ve found a cute lower level of a duplex to rent and are moving a week from today. we’ve got a couple weeks to settle in, and then i’ll be starting my new job on july 16th.
so, lots of big things happening, which means the blog will be on the backburner for a bit – but i’ll be back and hopefully more crafty than ever! crafting/cooking priorities for once we get settled are:
- making a t-shirt quilt
- finishing the granny square afghan i started about 6 months ago
- finding some new dinner recipes to add to our repertoire
